Jeremiah 33:11 Tara is a multi-cultural community of believers from diverse backgrounds who are united in faith under the headship of Jesus Christ. As an active body it is our desire to seek spiritual renewal in personal and community life, free from a false dichotomy of the secular/sacred imposed by humanistic ideologies or religious traditionalism. Founded in Armagh, the ancient capital of Ulster, City of Saint Patrick, burial place of Brian Boru - High King of Tara, heart of the Orchard County and Christian capital of Ireland. In acknowledgment of the 1st Century church established here by Patrick in 445AD it is our express wish to proclaim this distinctive Christian heritage though music, film and arts, making it relevant, inclusive and accessible to everyone. Our Vision in establishing and developing Tara as the premier Christian music, arts & film festival in Ireland is to exalt Jesus as Lord and celebrate the new life in Christ. Our Mission is to encourage and challenge the youth generation to explore life and faith through the creative and expressive, discover their true identity in Jesus, bring meaning to everyday life and realise the ultimate purpose for their lives as committed followers of Christ.
